‎Senior Advisor on Science and Policy, VHAC at the CDC

Dr. Brosgart joined Tobira Therapeutics Board of Directors in September 2009 and the Board of Directors of Juvaris Biotherapeutics in 2007. She also currently serves as Special Advisor on Health Care for FIPRA International, a global network of public health, public policy and regulatory advisers and as an infectious diseases and hepatology consultant to biotechnology companies. She is a Clinical Professor of Medicine in Global Health Sciences, Biostatistics and Epidemiology in the Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).

Kathi Burke is a graduate of Washington State University (B.A., Political Science, 1973) and of Georgetown University Law Center (J.D., 1977).  From 1999 to 2006, she was the Executive Director of the Stupski Foundation, a private operating foundation in Mill Valley, CA, focused on K-12 public education reform.  During that time, the Foundation’s primary program was the District Alliance, providing onsite management assistance, grants, leadership development and networking programs for leaders of districts around the country. 

Senior Vice President and Regional Servicing Director, Wells Fargo

A native San Franciscan who is born and raised in the Mission District of San Francisco, Miguel Bustos is Senior Vice President for Government and Community Relations for Wells Fargo & Co. He has served as an appointed official to local and national elected officials: first as HIV/AIDS Policy Advisor for President Clinton and Vice President Gore at the White House; Deputy District Director for Congresswoman Barbara Lee; Director of Boards and Commissions for San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom; and Director of Intergovernmental Affairs for Mayor Ronald V. Dellums.

Kathleen (Kathy) V. Fisher is a partner in Calvo Fisher & Jacob’s San Francisco office. She is actively engaged in a general business litigation and trial practice, with an emphasis on complex cross-border litigation. Kathy also has extensive experience in real property, professional liability, fiduciary, international, and ADR-related litigation. In 2011, The Recorder named her one of “20 Women Leaders in the Law” in recognition of her standing as one of California's leading lawyers.

Kathy was formerly a partner with Morrison & Foerster in San Francisco where she was lead counsel on a number of high-profile cases. She was worldwide chair of the firm’s Litigation Department from 1993 to 1996, longtime member of Morrison’s board of directors, and formerly managing partner of the San Francisco office.

Kathy is active in professional and civic organizations. She is a member of the San Francisco Law Library Commission and has previously served on the Board of Directors of the Bar Association of San Francisco and various San Francisco-based non-profits, including the San Francisco AIDS Foundation. She has received numerous awards for community service, including the San Francisco AIDS Foundation’s Leadership Award in 2004. Kathy received her B.A. degree from the University of California at Los Angeles, cum laude, and her J.D. degree from the University of California, Davis Law School, Order of the Coif.

Eric Roberts is the Director of Morrison & Foerster's Forensic Accounting Services Group. He is a retired partner of the the international accounting firm of Deloitte and is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Fraud Examiner, and has been certified in financial forensics (CFF) by the American Institute of CPAs.

President and Founder, Women Deliver; Founder, Family Care International (FCI)

Jill Sheffield is the founder and president of Women Deliver, and also the founder of Family Care International (FCI), a distinguished non-governmental organization and winner of the 2008 United Nations Population Award for outstanding work in sexual and reproductive health and rights.

Kelly Thompson is the Sr. Director of Cornerstone University for Cornerstone OnDemand responsible for leading and building the training program including the next generation of learning experiences, courses and certification programs. Prior to joining Cornerstone she lead training departments at Lithium technologies and SDL International where she led the global education team. Over the past 15 years Kelly has provided many Fortune 500 companies services in education and IT consultancy specializing in social experience and global services. Prior to her career in IT, Kelly was active in the education field working as a teacher.

Shamann Walton is the Executive Director of Young Community Developers (YCD), Inc. and the Vice-President of the San Francisco Board of Education. As a native of San Francisco, it has always been his passion to help others and provide opportunities for young people to reach their highest level of potential. Prior to joining Young Community Developers, Shamann developed an extensive record of collaboration and leadership within Bay Area schools and nonprofits.
